Each year the Jewett United Methodist Church hosts a great car show called the Jalopy Jamboree. It started long ago as a fun and exciting way to raise funds for the church. Over the years our grounds have seen some of the coolest cars in Texas. From slammed rat rods to diligently restored corvettes, every class of car is welcome at our show. We hope to see you there!

Be sure to check out the parade before the show! Be ready to line up at 8:30 AM. Cruise your awesome ride down main street and give spectators a taste of what they will see at the show! The parade is free to participate in and is a fun cruise through town complete with a marching band and floats! Be part of our tradition! Just swing into the car show at the end of the parade. There will still be plenty of parking!
